Norwood Christmas Pageant

2000 years ago in ancient Israel, shepherds looking after their sheep were surprised when angels appeared to them announcing news that a Saviour had been born.
“He is in a stable in Bethlehem. Go there and find Him.” At about the same time, kings from the far East, guided by a star, were bringing gifts to the baby Jesus.

As Jesus grew, he taught people many things about God. He did many miracles, and people loved him greatly. He loved us so much He was willing to die on a cross so that we could be forgiven for our wrongdoings. Then miraculously He rose from the dead after three days.

Let us seek Him like the shepherds and kings did. Let us be thankful that He suffered for us. Let us accept His gift of grace and invite Him into our lives as our Saviour.

Now that really is a great Christmas gift!
